As a follow up to my previous post on sight words on a ring, I have created a PDF of Kindergarten and First Grade Sight Words. If you would like a copy of the PDF, please email me. The yellow cards are for Kindergarten students. The green cards are First Grade students. The combined yellow and green cards are Kindergarten and First Grade sight words to be used with 2nd graders and up.
These cards can be used in centers for students to quiz each other. They can be used as a writing resource for English Leaners in 2nd-5th grade. They can be used in during guided reading/small group instruction to quiz students on their sight word knowledge. Each child would get their own set. You only want to put the sight words taught on the ring. (Add words as they are taught.) The teacher calls a sight word and all of the students find it among their cards and hold it up for the teacher.

This is incredibly useful to me. I am a reading teacher for grades 1-5 always looking for extra manipulatives to have in have for my students.
